JOB PLACEMENT: We have job placement available after graduation for our top graduates and are the only massage school with an affiliation with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. We also have many contacts with health facilities desiring licensed massage therapists.
OUR PROGRAMS: We offer more technique classes than any other school in the area. You will become an expert in both Eastern & Western massage techniques. This comes in handy when looking for work! (Most schools just teach one style. We teach both!) Your diploma will also indicate that you have achieved high levels in “Massage & Bodywork”......not just “Massage”. We offer it all! Begin our program now if that works best for your schedule! We offer a Full-Time program that meets 2-5 days/week and an “Evenings & Weekends” program also. Our faculty is outstanding, with credentials far superior to any other massage school in the area. Our Executive Director has also been chosen by the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics to lead a healing and massage therapy program for their faculty, staff, patients and guests. We do not accept federal aid funding. Our students either pay in full or receive funding through a student loan program. FACILITY: Everyone is still talking about our beautiful new location. We moved from our downtown Iowa City location in Spring of 2008 to our current location in the North Liberty/Corridor area. (10 minutes from Iowa City/University of Iowa campus and 20 minutes from Cedar Rapids/Kirkwood Campus) We are located in the new state of the art 36,000 square foot CORE Fitness & Wellness building. This amazing structure overlooks a pond and fountains. It is gorgeous inside and out with stone exterior, soaring ceilings, granite counters, and many spacious sunshine filled windows! We have double the space of our former location.
WHERE ARE WE: The Massage School is just 20 minutes from Cedar Rapids, 10 minutes from Iowa City and the University of Iowa campus, and less than one hour West of the Mississippi River. Students travel from all over the state or re-locate to the area to attend our program.
